Christina Tsoules Soriano

Christina Tsoules Soriano

Christina Tsoules Soriano is an Assistant Professor of Dance at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC where she teaches various levels of Modern technique, Dance Composition, 20th Century Dance History, and a very special dance class called Movement for Men. Before relocating to North Carolina in 2006, Christina was an adjunct professor at Providence College and Salve Regina University in Rhode Island. Christina's teaching and choreography credits throughout New England include Rhode Island College, Amherst College, Trinity College, Festival Ballet (Providence), and Providence Ballet. She received her MFA in Dance from Smith College in 2003 and her BA in Theatre and Dance from Trinity College. Recent NC performances include the 2007-08 NC Dance Festival tour, the 2007 Greensboro Fringe Festival and ADF’s “Acts to Follow”. This summer, she is embarking on a tour with her newly formed company, CTS Dance, which involves student and professional dancers in North Carolina. The tour will kick off with a performance at Wake Forest on April 30, and shows in Hartford, CT and Providence, RI will follow in June, 2008.
